Huckleberry Tea from Montana
  • Huckleberry Tea from Montana

Made famous by Mark Twain's famous character "Huckleberry Finn," huckleberries are particularly native to Montana. This sweet, tart wildberry grows only in moist mountain areas and cannot be commercially grown. According to legend, when early American colonists first encountered them, they misidentified them as the European blueberry known by the name of "hurtleberry." They continued to call them hurtleberries until 1670, when the name was unintentionally altered to huckleberry.

A special preparation of naturally huckleberry-flavored black Ceylon Tea from The Huckleberry Patch company, located in Hungry Horse, Montana, which claims fame as the wild huckleberry capital of the West. 1 pouch contains 4 tea bags.
